Cast of child born under inter cast marriage

(Querist) 27 July 2012 This query is : Resolved 
I married in 2009 (inter cast)and have a baby boy of around 1 year.where myself is from brahmin family and my wife is from Koshti family(Special Backward classes)i have question regarding which cast is mention while taking admition in KG std.

Father's cast would be child's cast and not that of mother even in inter cast marriage unless there is some beneficial notification in the state you are.
