Hi,
Please let me know what is the maximun maintenance allowance for senior citizens prescribed by TN government.

"15. Maximum maintenance allowances.—The maximum maintenance allowance which a Tribunal may order the opposite party to pay shall, subject to a maximum of rupees ten thousand per month, be fixed in such a manner that it does not exceed the monthly income from all sources of the opposite party, divided by the number of persons in his family, counting the applicant or applicants also among the opposite party’s family members."

Under 125 cr pc, according to income , and requirement of applicant, but generally in no case exceed 1/3rd of nett income . Though Max and mininum at discretion of Court, no limit . [ for mah state, I hv no idea of TN ]

The maximum amount can be Rs. 10,000/- per month but subject to calculation of the income divided by the no. of family members of the respondent including the applicants and respondent/opposite party.
