RESPECTED MEMBERS,
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS ONE NEED TO FULFILL TO OPEN HOOKAH BAR IN KOLKATA AS ONE OF MY CLIENT IS INTERESTED IN THE SAME.ALSO TELL ME THE WHAT PERMISSION NEED TO BE TAKEN?KINDLY HELP

make application to police commissioner for license to run hookah bar . the commisisoner may grant permission subject to conditions that teenagers should not be allowed and ingredients used should in hookah should be permissible and not against anti tobacco laws

further smooking zone should be separate from resturant area if resturant is also being run in same premises . if licensing conditrions are violated hookah bars may ve directed to be closed down and license revoked

ONE MORE Q REGARDING THE STATUTORY ACT THAT NEED TO BE COMPLIED WITH AND ALSO WHETHER TRADE LICENSE AS PER RELEVANT STATE LAWS IS REQUIRED TO BE TAKEN FOR THE SAME?????
