I am catholic, and i want to know about the following,
my great grandfather had 2 wife
of which the first wife had one son
and the second wife had 2 son's and 3 daughters
and now we have property which is passed on from ancestors so how should this be divided?
should it be 50% between both the wife ?? or would it be equally distributed between the childrens? if it is equally distributed then does the share of girls come into this according to the new law?
also recently i read that the girl who got married do not have right over their home property so i wanted your opinion on this.

Which state you belong to.
Goa has different law in this regard, whereas rest of India follows Indian Succession Act.
