My brother is leaving to USA tomorrow night for the first time.He wants to draft POA IN favour of our father to purchase a flat for him through bank home loan.Tell me the procedure is such POA is needed to be notaried by advocate or not required.tell me the procedure if the same property is to be registered

your brother have to register power of attorney before sub-registrar in favour of your father.

contact a local lawyer get power of attorney drfated in favour of your father and get it registered . then only your father can purchase flat for your brother .

notarised power of attorney is of no use .

POA registration is a optional but such POA should be attested before sub-registrar.

You should give POA to your father should be attested defore sub-registar and registered then your father will purchase flat for you. Notarised POA is of no value in the eye of law.
