Dear Experts,
My friend had submitted altered salary slip & appointment date to his new company ,he was joining. This is only because of he is getting a low salary from the previous company. But he given all the marks cards & other documents as it is . it is not fabricated. After a month company terminated him for giving falls salary slip & offer letter.
Now the question arises does the company have the right to terminate for the same? otherwise company can reject the candidate before appointment.
can my friend wants to file a suit against that company for damages & compensation. Is this possible ? Please advise.

the company is justified in terminating your services . you have joined company under false pretences . you have shown higher salary than you were drawing in your last job .
no case for damages and compensation is maintainable

Nothing left to add. Falsity on your part would leave you remedyless and blemish your record as well.

I still have to add
You have asked "does the company have the right to terminate"
The company may not be fully justified to terminate without giving opportuinity of defence but when the higher salary offer was extracted from company solely on the basis of a salary slip of previous compnay the ingradients of section 415 of IPC were complete. The company was fully justified to hand him over to the police.
