Selling same property more then one time

respected all
i purchased an agricultural land in the area of outer Delhi 4 years back direct from 11 Zamindar brothers. since at that time registry was not open for that area i got the thumb impression of all the 11 zamindar brothers on stamp paper along with the transaction details & payment was made though cheque. when we went on the land to take physical possession an another party approched there and show there registry which they got executed in 2002 itself (in 2002 registry for that area was open). we were shocked as they got all the property papers in proper sequence. we understood dat we were fooled and fraud has been done with us. we approched the zamindar brothers and they tried to negotiate with us which is in process till now & we didnt get a single penny of our payment.
now please guide what shud i do...???

You can file a police complaint under section 420 of IPC for cheating.

Another remedy is to file a civil suit for recovery.

agree with deepak . you have been defrauded . file criminal complaint for cheating , breach of trust . file civil suit for recovery of money paid to seller
