There is a company in which there are 4 houses. the company has been split. the problem is of distributing these assets. can anyone please tell me the different alternatives available.
an outright sale purchase leads to a lot of cash outflow in the form of stamp duty, cap. gain tax and dividend distribution tax.
De-merger cannot happen because the company has no activities.

Whether the company is a private limited or a public limited?
whether the company has gone into liquidation? if yes, what about the other assets and liabilities and what is your status in the company?
These vital questions should be got replied by you first so as to enable all of us to reply your query properly.

Agree with Raj Makkadji.Pls let us know your locus standi in the matter and detailed facts of the company. What exactly you mean by split in the company. it is not possible under company law ? In case you mean that stakeholders of the company has reached to an understanding, that cannot overpass income-tax and other staturoty liabilities.
