Where was the need of Written Statement in 340 case.

And if WS is filed, rejoinder is maintainable.

As per Pritish v/s State's judgement of full bench of Supreme Court, reported in all most all books of criminal law of year 2002, Written Statement or any other such defence of respondents, prior to registraion of complaint against them, is not allowed.
