Mental torture

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 30 October 2011 This query is : Resolved
I am 71 years of age and stay in a flat owned by me and my husband. I stay with my husband, son, daughter in law and grand son. My son is not keeping good health. He works on and off. My daughter in law does not work anywhere currently. She also does not help at home at all.If there is any difference of opinion she threatens me of committing suiside. We are sustaining on the monthly pension earned by me and my husband. Will you advise me how do I protect me and my family legally and socially from the mental torture of committing suiside by my daughter in law?

Firstly resolve the matter socially with help of near-dear relative & friends.
Appropriate legal remedy be last option.

yes mr kundan given good suggestion . if she is adamant then seek neighbor or relative of her to counsel her, If really no issue on your part then approach her parents and explain all , if she is still adamant then get suggestion of your local lawyer and solve the prob.

What ever you do in case of actual suicide all the family members have to bear the brunt legally and socially, so better avoid the situation which creates difference of opinion.

proper guidance already given. no addition requires.

Also remedy lies in Senior Citizen Act, whereby you can get injunction against her from committing any nuisance in your house.
