Error in sale deed

My query is what is the procedure for rectifying an error in the sale deed which has been duly Registered.For example a minor error in the date of the sale deed.i.e. it is mentioned as 2nd February 2010 instead of 2011.

you can approach along with original deed with formal petition before the witness correction the numerical mistake with endorsement of the sellor & buyer before the registeror

Do following:-
1.Prepare correction deed
2.Execute by seller and purchaser
3.same registered before sub-registrar.

Execute a further deed declaration. It does not cost much.
