Salary and bouns

Sir,
My salary is 2.95 lacs/annum
I am getting bonus but it is deducted from my own salary (shown as a part of CTC in salary break up annual annexure) and recd at the time of diwali. Is it right and legal?

As per your salary, you are not eligible for bonus under the payment of bonus act.
Check appointment letter/policy of compnay for bonus pymt.

Sir,the question is not regarding eligibility, it is regarding whether the deduction is correct or not from my own salary, and if it is wrong what actions could be faced by company(just for info.)

So long as the annual assured CTC (which includes the bonus also) of Rs. 2.95 lakhs is being paid to you, there is nothing wrong in the company's actions.
