Documents in evidence

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 23 August 2011 This query is : Resolved
Is it necessary to produce original of all photocopy documents in the court in a civil property dispute. If some documents cannot be produced in original what is the effect on evidence stage? Can those documents be recalled from subregistrar office where they are registered?
To prove ownership of a property chain of original documents is sufficient or the subregistrar whom is to be called as witness.
