division of property

my grandfather had two wives they were legally his wife before 1947.father and both his wives r dead.now from first wife he had one son ,from second wife he had 6 children.now the division of property has to b done.i wanted to ask weather the property will b distributed equally or one son will get half share and other six the rest half.no will is made.there is no registration of property .only allotment letter is there in name of father.

All will get equal share.

Each of the children (whether born to first wife or second wife) will get equal share in the property left behind by the father.
