Woman delivered a baby child in hospital / nursing home. Being female the parents left the child in the hospital. The doctors sold away the child / baby to the children less parents for Rs.7000/- for the hospital bill. The police received complaint against the issue. The mother and father of child are guilty of offence punishable under s 317 of IPC but offence of s 370 IPC is not made out against Hospital. But Im am sure that the conduct of Hospital is not lawful.

the mother and father are guilty of offence under section 317 of IPC and the Dr is guilty of offence for professional misconduct

The action of the hospital is illegal.Parents can move against Hospital.

Mr.Uma Parameswaran! You could not follow the question. The parents of the new-born-child left the child in the hospital and they fled away. The hospital sold the child to the childless parents under their hospital bill for Rs.7000/- for that police received a complaint. So, which sections attracted to the doctors for selling the child. Of-course for the guilty of the parents sec.317 I.P.C. will be attracted. Thanks to the experts who responded so-far. But I need more clarity.
