Legal Heir certificate and Succession Certificate

hi sir,

i stay in hyderabad and my property is also in hyderabad.

could you please tell me the difference between Legal Heir certificate and Succession Certificate.

and also tell me from where i can get them both.

so far i know succession certificate can be obtained through court procedures and there is no difference between legal heir certificate and succession certificate as succession certificate means heirs certificate so far i know.

If you are from Hyderabad, then you cannot get both of them since according to a G.O, legal heirs certificate is to be issued only to claim pensionary and death benefits of a government employee, similarly succession certificate is issued only to claim movable property and not immovable property. You need to approach the Administrator General at A P High Court who will declare heirs to the property. You need to appoint a local lawyer for the same.

At least please provide the provision of law regarding the Adminstrator General of A.P High Court has got jurisdiction to issue succession certificate.
