Sirs I had asked below query to which I recd reply.
" would like to know what diffrence would it make in the eyes of law if the indemnity for loss of demand draft is not given on stamp papaer and instead given on plain paper".

Pls clarify if the agreement or indemnity on non stamped paper be made admissible in court of Law by paying extra stamp duty ?

If the Stamp Act of your state provides any stamp duty for the execution of such instrument, then yes you have to pay such duty in court at the time of its admissibility as exhibit.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 30 October 2010
Indemnity bond should be executed on the stamp paper only, otherwise you will have to pay the stamp duty if it is produced before the court to get mark it. Court will refer the Dist., commissioner to collect the stamp duty.
