settlement deed

(Querist) 19 October 2010 This query is : Resolved 
i got a house property settled to me by my mom on 11.7.2010 which she obtained thru a family partition towards her father's self earned properties who died interstate,alongwith her surviving brothers. Now, can she make any rearrangemnt of the said property without my concern influenced by my other heirs

it depends on the fact how you settled with your mom. is there any proof of said settlement. if there exist no evidence of said settlement your consent has no meaning.

IF she obtained property through a family partition towards her father's self earned properties & she died interstate,alongwith her surviving brothers. Now, she can make any rearrangemnt of the said property without your concern .

As your settlement deed is already registered so there is no question of making re-arrangement under the influence of any other person by your mother.

1.If the settlement is unconditional, registered one, she can't make any alteration or revocation in it.
2.Otherwise, if it is a conditional settlement, imposing some duties and obligations on you and you have not obliged it, she may/ can revoke the same
