Case status after death of Petioner / Complainant?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 12 April 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I am 65 yrs. and complelled to file Civil as well as Criminal cases against some relatives due to frauds and disputes etc.

What will be the fate of such cases in the event I die ? Will the cases continue with my wife or daughter or son in law on record? Pl. guide.

yes, your legal heirs follow the case, you can give the letter formal letter

Yes,After the death of plaintff/defendant and complainant,their legal heirs can continue the case.

If right to sue survives after the death, your legal representatives may be substituted in your place to prosecute the proceedings.
