Respected Sir,
It is intimated that being a govt. employee of haryana I have purchased a flat in zirakpur, punjab with having a PNB Housing Finance Bank Loan and pay the registration fees and stamp duty as applicable in Punjab State. The Department is pressurized me to submit Registry Copy and transaction slips of property for ex post facto approval.
But in the last request, K. Ramachandaran advise only intimation to the Govt. Department if loan has been sanctioned by the Bank.
What can I do in this matter.

Dear Sir,
Usually intimation to the Government is sufficient.

Intimation is sufficient. But in this case two intimations are required - one for the purchase of property and the other, for the loan availed. However, prior permission would be required if a Government servant enters into transaction in property with a person having official dealings with him..

I agree with expert advise of Mr. P Venu. You should have submitted intimation to your department on both the occasions, which is a mandatory requirement.

You are lucky, if your department has agreed to give post facto approval and not started disciplinary action against you for not taking prior approval of the Government, particularly in a case where loan from bank was taken. Borrowing money is subject to prior approval of the Government. If you have really purchased the property in your name, not as a fake or benami transaction, you must provide the requisite documents..

What is the hitch in providing copy of the required documents by your department?
