Domestic voilence

Wife left home due to domestic violence, she is staying with her parents since last 7 months. While leaving she had not filed any case or police complaint. Can she send legal notice to husband now under DV and ask for maintenance u/s 24.

Is the wife working or has any source of income?

The husband can also initiate action for RCR.

She can lodge complaint for DV (may be decided as false afterwards) and ask for maintenance.
