I filed an arbitration case before ICA on 29.05.2015 and deposited registration fee Rs.11236/- (10000 + 1236) i.e. @ 12.36% p.a.
ICA raised a invoice for Rs.164/- as a shortfall due to raise of service tax amount @ 14% w.e.f. 1.6.2015. Please clarify.

When the arbitration services would be provided only from 1.6.2015, the tax chargeable is 14%. What they have charged is quite correct.

Deposit the demanded amount, any legal step would be more time and cost consuming and has little merits.
