This query is : Resolved
My friend after going throught the trauma of CAW / Dv cases, had mediation agreement, then a revised mediation agreement (on girls request, as she was not happy with the first one), has paid the initial 2 istallments of the settlement amount. The First motion for divorce also happened in January 2012. Now second motion for divorce is due in 3rd week of July 2012. My querry is - can the girl create any more problems for my friend either during second motion or at the time of quashing of the FIR ? Can she back out from the mediation settlement agreement ?

She is free to do so,[ create more problems for ur friend during second motion or Quashing of the FIR ]and in that case, Divorce Petition cannot be allowed.

She can withdraw her consent at the time of second motion, and in that event the divorce will not be granted mutually.

How can my reply be different than the other experts. One extra suggestion. Hope for the best and be ready for the worst. This should have been thought prior to entering an agreement. This is not a stage of anticipation. Let the 3rd week come and seek her response and take further action accordingly. Nothing is impossible in this world.
