Ownership transfer of indian lpg agency

A LPG agency was alloted to my grandfather under freedom fighter quota.My grandfather had two sons (my father,elder son and my chacha,younger son)and one married daughter. After his death the agengy was trasfered in the name of my chacha with due consenent of my father. I am the only grandson of my grandfather and his successor.My query is that can my chacha tranfer the agency to anybody else or to his married daughter. Do I have any legal rights in this matter. I am unemployed and my father is senior citizen and retaired

Dear Mr. Nitish,

Since your father had already given NOC in favour of your Chacha, now your father and you have no right or claim over the said agency. Neither your unemployment, nor your father's senior citizen status would be of any help.

Your Chacha has every right to deal with the Agency and to give it to any of his children - whether married daughter or others.

It is true that your father has left his right in favour of your chacha but it is to be verified from particular gas company about further transfer policy as gas agency is under Freedom Fighters Scheme. It is better to enquire about procedure of transfer of agency in this scheme.

Prima facie, you cannot claim right, however,as advised, enquire about procedure of transfer of agency in this scheme.
