Quick Summary
This discussion concerns a land sale in Andhra Pradesh involving temple endowment property. The seller sold two acres of land registered under section 38 AP in 2018, which was originally part of a temple endowment. Now, 100 years later, the temple authorities are demanding five acres of agricultural land in return. The seller left the temple 50 years ago, the temple's income is below five lakhs, and they possess a pattadar passbook. The land was registered with a conditional deed stating hereditary family maintenance. The seller is seeking guidance on how to proceed, especially after a resurvey identified the land as temple property.

How did you sell the temple land in the year 2018? Is it registered? If it is endowment temple land, did you get permission to sell the land from the Commissioner?
