Industrial Disputes Act shall be applicable. The appropriate government in the case shall be central government if the Public Company has establishments in more than one state ( say Banks/Insurance/Airlines etc) otherwise state government shall be appropriate government.

The employees which are covered under the definition of Workman as defined in Section 2 of ID Act shall only be covered under this act and all other employees shall be covered under civil law.

No minimum working hours are prescribed in any law in Ltd.Companies, however, masimum hours are 8 per day which includes lunch/dinner break.
