I am married man living separately from our parents since 2016 after mutual understandings. I am not taking any maintenance from them. Is it mandatory to include my parents income for applying to EWS certificate.

I opine though you are living separately with your wife, the total income of your family i.e. the annual income of your parents and yourself does not exceed Rs.8/-lakhs, then you are eligible for EWS.

Income of your parents shall not be calculated / added to your + income of your spouse.
