In crpc u/s 125 maintaince can be asked by either spouse
where as Domistic voilence act it restricts the husbend from claiming and is penal.

ARE THESE QUITE contarary? Which one prevails

BOTH ARE HAVING LEGAL VALUES INSPITE OF FACT THA BOTH ARE CONTRADICTORY WITH EACH OTHER ON SOME ISSUES.

Where do you find that maintenance case under section 125 can be filed either of the spouse?
It is all along the wife, dependent parents and minor children who could file this case. The husband is no where allowed. It is only under section 24 of HMA where either of the spouse could take initiation.
