Is there any time limit prescribed under D V Act for filing Case - incident took place in April 2007 - now a case can be filed on the basis of April 2007 -alleged incident !

There is no time limit, but after long gap if DV act is filed it may create some suspicious about the case.

There is no time limit prescribed under the Domestic Violence Act for filing case.

Though no time limit is prescribed but this should be agitated within reasonable time otherwise it may be presumed that the alleged atrocities have been condoned.
