documents needed for mutual consent divorce

Hi..I am going through mutual consent divorce process...my lawyer told me that I will have to submit my original documents for future proceedings to the court which the court will return me back after some time...I do not wantto submit the original copies...will a verified copy be sufficient for proceeding with the court hearing?

Wedding card is more than sufficient, you need not produce any other documents.

Any proof of marriage would be sufficient. For MCD not much documents need to be attached.
