Sir, my brother marriage did in 2014 after one month we know that there is problem in his wife right eye ...we ask her parents for all this but her father and mother said it is your problem why you not find before marriage, her mother abusing more badly words for our whole family .We not take single money from marriage still her whole family blaming us specially her mother.His wife also using bad abusing languages to all our family..and said we make FIR to all family .Actuality her parents greedy about money and want separate house for her daughter But we live in joint family....we are trouble ..till now she lives 4 months to his father house. He not ready for divorce.....when she lived with her she daily gave mentally torched to our family .My mother health not good .her family always said about court that court always favor the wife , not a single law for men .Is their any law for protecting from her and their family.please suggest sir what we do ?.

If there was a problem in the right eye of UR bhabi,was it not detected at the time of engagement or marriage?How could it be detected only after one month?
U R posting this query on behalf of UR brother,what is doing? What makes U people to think of divorce so early?

Try to settle the matter. Legal path would spoil the life of all including husband and wife. Get her illness treated through some good specialist.
You have not taken any money, right step, taking dowry is crime.
If not adjusted in joint family, allow them to live separate, it would be in favor of all.

Where there is a will there is a way. If you attempt to solve the issue amicably there are many solutions for it but if you are adamant about divorce alone, the legal consequences arising out of it have to be faced. The problem with right eye if can be treated upon, why dont you try to give her a treatment and if it is not curable, living with adjustment shall provide more reliefs than the problems anticipated.
