1. Can a review petition be filed in the same court after the discharge petition has been rejected?

2. I know that the option of challenging the decision of the trial court in High Court is there, but in this case, it can take up to three years for a petition to even come up for consideration in the Patna High Court.

3. Can one approach the Supreme Court to direct the High Court to dispose off the petition within a specified period of time

You cannot jump the procedure. If that be so, then everyone will only be going to the SC straight away instead of availing the appeal.

2. Just represent before open court about your long pending and your urgency also.. Court will issue urgency slip to bring your case immediatly. Or given a letter before the registry. Registrar will solve your problem.

3. Am differ from mr.arunagiri's view that supreme court will not direct the high court for dispose a matter with in certain time frame. Supreme court can, also having power. But its will not ready to waste its time on your petition. You have to seek alternative in high court only.
