My name in passport , pan card and school certificate is Ramesh Kumar sohanlal Bajaj , but in Aadhar card, election card, ration card , driving licence is Ramesh Sohanlal Bajaj , will I have any problem in upcoming SIR and census? what should I do? Pl advise
If your name appears slightly differently across various official documents like your passport and Aadhaar card, don't worry too much. Such mismatches are common in India. You can resolve this by obtaining a notarised affidavit explaining the discrepancy and getting your name corrected in the relevant records as per official procedures. While not a major legal issue, it's advisable to rectify it when needed.

The SIR has nothing to do with your names appearing differently in different documents/proofs. You can produce the correct one.

Such discrepancies/mismatches are quite common in our country. The same could be corrected through affidavits, as and when necessary.

Get you name corrected in concerned records a per rules on the issue. However, it is not a legal dispute/problem for consideration and obligation of experts on this platform.

You can obtain a notarised affidavit from a notary.
