Difference between exhibit and article

(Querist) 22 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,

When it comes to Family Court Act, whats the difference between an evidence marked as an exhibit or as an Article?

If a judge marks an evidence as an Article and keeps it as open (to be discussed during final arguments), does that mean that the evidence has not been admitted?

What are the positives and negatives related to the evidence being marked as a Article?

If this is a bad sign, would going to High Court be of some use?

Dear Expert,

Not an academic Query. I am not able to find anything of admission of evidences as Articles Numbers and NOT as Exhibit Numbers.

Utterly confused on what it really means.

fully proved document is only exhibited

like PW 1/1 OR DW 1/1 ETC.

document having some evidence value is marked

as A or B etc.

Thanks a Lot Mr. Nanda.

So if not exhibited, an evidence (even if marked as an Article) can be easily ignored while deciding a civil case?
