G P A From a legatee.....

Dear Forum Members!

Can you any one provide me a draft for obtaining GPA from a Legatee of a Will, for Fighting the case and claiming Compensation from a Govt., Organisation.

Further, What value of the stamp paper to be used for the above GPA, and is it necessary to Register this Document, if so what is the fee to be paid for the Registration of the GPA, with the Registrar.

Matter is Little URGENT please.I am from AP State.

Draft of GPA can be searched at this Forum's files (or you can download it from TNGOVT.nic.in website). The sentences have to be forumulated as per your requirement ie., 'To submit application to claim compensation from Govt', 'To receive money'..... etc.,

The GPA is to be drafted on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper. The registration fees depends on the state's registration rules. For TN, it is Rs. 150/-.

no need of registration, but it has to be executed before the Notary public

I agree with R.Shivasubrmanian and Jitendra.
To file a case registration of PA is not necessary. But in the PA u have to take the contention that U have got full knowledge of the matter, because in the court at the time of evidence PA will not be considered because PA holder cannot depose on behalf of the principal.
