in private sector, are companies bound to give Dearness Allowance? Support the answer with case laws.
Dearness Allowance (DA) is generally not applicable to employees in the private sector. It is primarily paid to central government employees, public sector employees, and pensioners of the central government. While both public and private sector employees may be eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA), DA is a benefit exclusive to the public sector. If you require specific case law to support this, it is recommended to consult with a legal professional.
