Hi sir, this is Navaneethakrishnan from coimbatore. My original d.o.b is 23.02.1993. But wrongly given to school as 30.07.1992. So since then, my all documents driving license, voter-id, and PAN card) having this D.O.B. Now what i've to do ? Are you in possession of a birth certificate issued by the local Municipal Corporation/Gram Sabha /Registrar of births and deaths/ the hospital of your birth.?

Then decide to change it or keep it as it is for record purpose..

The date of birth would be difficult to change in all documents. But why you want to change at this stage?

The birth certificate will be the valid document for all your future requirements including obtaining the passport, hence please initiate measures to change the same in all the records as early as possible.

Shri T Kalaiselvan ji as well as the other learned experts have brought all the important aspects of a birth certificate.It is very incomprehensible that a State Govt should issue a birth certificate,. Be it as it may the birth certificate is one of the most important Document that a person should have, It is this certificate that bestows upon the newly born the status of a Citizen of the Indian Republic and along with that it bestows all the Fundamental and other rights on the newly born citizen and along with that the protection of the Constitution. It tells you the name and ages of your parents at the time of your birth. It also gives your date ,time and place of birth , any birth mark noticed on the body and of course the religion of the newly born child. Passport is a Secondary document. So put the matter in order at your earliest convenience
