(Querist) 23 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
Sirs,

I want a certified copy of a writ petition filed before Supreme court. I am not a party to the proceedings.

1. Can I apply through post?

2. Need I file any affidavit with copy application?

3. Is there any prescribed format? If thereis, will any one kindly attach the proforma to the reply?
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 23 May 2011
Yes you will have to file an affidavit to get the certified copy of the writ

Yes, agreed with mr.rajoo. If you are not a party in that writ mean you have to apply the copy application as a third party. For that you have to file an affidavit along with your application.
