1. I am associated with a Industrial Production Society registered in New Delhi way back in 1968.
The Society did not have much of an activity for several years and did not file any returns or hold elections. the same set of officer bearers continue.
As per the website of the Registrar of Cooperatives, the Society has not filed its Reports or accounts since 1987.
Of late the Society has become active and has also acquired some property.
2. How do we go about regularising records. After it is done, we would also like to hold elections and add new members.
3. Recently when we wanted to change office bearers, the bank would not accept new signatures as the elections had not been held as per the procedure laid down by the Registrar of Societies.
4. The Society has less than 10 members at present and would like to add about five more.

You first pass a resolution to re-activate the society and then induct 5 new members as desired then old election as per procedure laid down, submit its report to registrar in time then approach your banker. all systems can be got regularized by fulfilling lacuena of past activities.

Better get the election conducted under the supervision of a representative of the Registrar Co-op Societies, get the authentication of the representative of the Registrar of the Co-op Societies for accredition of the Management Committee, Get the authority of operation of accounts from the office of the RCS and handover to bank and get the account operational. Pass a resolution for induction of 5 more members in the general body, prepare accounts for the past years, get audit from the auditors appointed by the Registrar office. Your society will be operational and udated.
