Rental amount is being asked to transfer to another account

Dear Experts,

My sister is staying in a rented house, the landlord has moved to overseas.
Now the landlord is asking to pay the rental amount into his father's account.
What is to be done in this case.

As per agreement rent should be paid in the account of landlord to safeguard against any future complications.

so he creates a situation that he receives rent and is still able to argue that no rent has been paid.
