Clarification w.r.t. famili member /legala heir certificate

Good Afternoon sir,
In connection to the subject, i was asked to produce the legal heir certificate to get claims of my father medical benefits which has to come from state govt.my doubt is whether to produce legal heir or family member certificate? kindly help me out in this regard.

Check what is issued in your state.

The said certificate is intended to show legal heirs/family members of deceased and shall show you as son.

Legal heir certificate will be issued by the Revenue authorities and it will sufficient.

If legal heir certificate is issued in your state, then apply for it.

Usually O/o Tehsildar issues it.
