(Querist) 28 May 2010 This query is : Resolved 

My clients have preferred an appeal against a money decree before the High Court of Madras . Is it mandatory to deposit half the amount or furnish security as ordered by the court, as I find that under Order 41 Rule 1 provision has been ommitted by Madras Amendment.Kindly clarify

Rules are not above the findings/orders of Hon'ble High Courts so better follow the verdict and move ahead.
