Cheque bounce

Dear sir,
Greetings for the day..

Sir i have borrowed money from my friend 1,40,000/- for which he has taken two cheques one is for 1Lakh, and the other one is for 40,000/- of which i have paid part amount 70,000/- and 97,500 as intrest for the same. in two differnt 10rs bond papers he written that i have taken those amounts . when i paid 70,000/- i asked him to amend the bond paper and retun a cheque. for which he said i could not find those once i find i l give u...i reminded so many times but he fail to amend tht.i know his intensions were bad and i said that once u give the cheque and amend the bond papers then i return ur money.then for few days he was mum..and i happen to get a job out of town ..then he started harrasing my people that he wants the remaining money with intrest..otherwise he will file a cheque bounce case..and he is getting so many people near my house and harrasing our people.can i take a legal action against him .if so pls help..even iam ready to pay his remaining balance which is left out..but the mental agony which our people and myself gone through , can i take any legal help..or can he charge a cheque bounce case against me..pls help...awaiting for ur reply..thank u sir.

Mr. Chandra Shekar,
Please engage a lawyer, send a legal notice to return cheque and bond papers failing which file a suit for permanent and mandatory injunction besides filing criminal compliant for breech of trust and fraud committed by your friend, if still he do not mend his ways.
Before filing cheque dishonoured case he is supposed to issue 15 days demand notice, otherwise the complaint is not maintainable.

how have you paid that 95,000/- and 70,000 by what menas do you have proof of the same. even then as stated please issue him legal notice as stated by our expert through a lawyer. take action immediately narrating all the facts.
