Change in mother's surname in child's birth certificate

Dear Sir / Madam,
My surname in the birth certificate of my daughter was written as per my passport before marriage. Now my one year old daughter's passport is not being approved due difference in mother's surname. All other proofs of after marriage are nor being accepted by passport office. Please advise.

Ask the passport withoyt what do they want for issuance of passport. Act as per their requirement.

First approach the authority which issued the birth certificate and get the name corrected submit them an affidavit and complete any formality required by them. Also get your name changed (if it is maiden name)on your passport.

After these two formalities apply again for passport of your daughter.
