Caste certificate

Hi, I am Jyoti. My Caste is Hindu Daivajna Brahmin. Which i scomes under 2A category. And my brother caste is wrongly entered as Hindu Brahmin, which comes under General merit.Please can you suggest , how to change the caste certificate? Now he is studying B.com 1st year.

Ms.Jyoti,

Your brother should file a fresh application seeking for caste Certificate with the concerned Tahasildar,who is the Authority for issuing the Caste Certificate by annexing the following documents:-

1. Caste Certificate of your father;

2. Caste Certificate issued to you;

3. Earlier Caste Certificate if any of your brother;

4. An Affidavit explaining that the caste mentioned in the present Certificate is wrong; Request for a fresh Caste Certificate by mentioning the correct caste.

5. Any other supportive documents such as Transfer Certificate, Cumulative Record of your brother where the correct caste is mentioned

You have not understood what Mr Suresh BV said

he did not advise to change the caste and rather advised you to apply a fresh. Make sure that the advise is not taken as a prompting to fraud. Fresh application may mean concealment of earlier certificate.

this forum will not be able to guide you on the cost.
