Cancellation of Power of Attorney

Can I revoke / cancel the Power of Attorny mere sending notice to the Power of Attorney holder.

yes. it is enough to revoke. then issue a public notice in some daily newspaper about revocation to make the public know about it.

In case it is Regd GPA submit a copy of Notice before the SRO and Get necessary entries made in the SRO Records .

Apart from that the registered POA is cancelled by registered deed only followed by public notice.

It can be revoked by serving a notice to PA Holer. You should also Publish a Public Notice in a local daily to inform general Public at large.

Yes you can revoke GPA by sending the notice to the attorney of its cancellation. In case it is registered GPA then beside the sending the notice a revocation deed of the said GPA is to be prepared and registered before the registrar where such power was registered.

If the gpa is coupled with an interest it is irrevocable otherwise it can be revoked as advised above revocation deed should also be registered public notice is advisable
