Can housing society election be held in mumbai right now

the tenure of the previous managing committee is over few months back. we are told that due to covid , elections cannot be conducted. but in our society of the three office bearers,

one had sold the flat and gone
other is not in mumbai since last yr lockdown
third cannot give time

so since past one yr no one is actively involed in scoeity management. we wish to hold elections asap. please guide how to we go about it . is there still any restrictions?

What are the terms and conditions of the bylaw? If the period of Executive Body is completed and for any reasons such covid.19, the same EC shall be continued till the New Executive Committee/Body is elected. The three members who are not there, are they President/Secretary/Treasurer? The remaining executive Committee shall call for an emergency meeting shall temporarily elect the 3 members till the end of lockdown/covid by the majority of General body memers present.

I agree to the opinions rendered by expert Mr. KAVK Satyanarayana.
The other members of management committee may call for an emergency meeting and can continue the association on the caretaker basis till the new incumbents take possession of the office of the association.

There is a provision for convening Special General Body Meeting on a notice of 15 days for conducting elections of the new MC of the Cooperative Society.
Accordingly call SGBM (which may be physical or virtual-as per local rules) and elect new MC

If all the members of association agree for conducting the meeting to elect the new office bearers by zoom or any other virtual mode, then a meeting can be arranged by the existing office bearers following the regular procedures except for physical meeting and physical presence of the members.
