Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 10 December 2020 This query is : Resolved
I am born and brought up in Pune. I have domicile certificate of Maharashtra but curretnly I am not residing in Maharashtra. I am living outside india for 1 year only. Am I eligible for MHADA lottery
Quick Summary
Yes, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) with a Maharashtra domicile certificate can apply for the MHADA lottery, even if currently living abroad. The key requirement is having been domiciled in Maharashtra for over 15 years and holding Indian citizenship. This means individuals born and brought up in Maharashtra, who have been living outside India for a short period, are generally eligible to participate.
