For years our society is controlled by vested interests who are builders proxy and pro builder. It is over 24 yrs. builder has neither got us OC from BMC nor conveyed the land in the name of society. Some how society is registered with Dy. Registrar but it's records / working is never checked. Society did not initiate any action against builder due to these people and docile nature of members. This has only encouraged these persons to indulge in foul play. Not only this huge amount of money in cash is siphoned off by making false expense vouchers. Recently a member took initiative and objected to such way of working. Due to this he is now being threatened by the secretary and his cronies saying that he can not invite his guests / friends to stay with him in his apartment. 1) Should he lodge a police complain to such threats ? 2) Can this member take action against builder now in his personal capacity ? Pl. help and guide suitably.

I want to transfer my property in Haryana to my mother. as of now she is secondary owner of the property, now I want to make her the sole owner. what I understood is that Gift deed is the best option. May I know the stamp duty charges if any or total charges need to pay.

Sir,i filed divorce op against my wife and notice was served to her on 27.3.14.in retaliation she filed 498a,354,3 n 4 of dp act against me n my family on 17.4.14.
from the evening of 27.3.14 I m staying separately by paying rent where as she is staying in a company allotted quarter to me.i work for a govt company.recently i came to know she is staying alone where as her parents r staying in their hometown.we dont have children.we got married on 16.5.2010.
my questions r
1)as the quarter is in my name if something happens to her while staying in that quarter how far i would be RESPONSIBLE for her safety.
2)what shall i do now to escape from that reponsiblity.shall i give a complaint to my company or local PS

I had to travel to another city to sign legal papers related to my organisation.
Since the complete set was not ready with our lawyer, we were in hurry as I had to take return flight.
My lawyer suggested that I start signing on the right bottom corner of white blank pages so that in case of delay he can take print on those sheets. I had signed approx 35 sheets.
finally print out was taken on fresh pages as signature was overlapping the matter.
While I was signing, the lawyer had torn several papers including signed blank sheets. But I was not sure if all sheets were destroyed.
after signing all documents I left for airport hurriedly and requested him to destroy all unused sheets.
later I have sent him e-mail requesting him to destroy/return all unused sheets if any left out of approx 35 sheets signed blank.
The lawyer has replied to my mail confirming that all unused signed sheets has been destroyed.
I am preserving this mail exchange for my record.
Do I need to take any other precaution on this matter ?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Two days before while my husband dropping me one lady on her two wheeler hit our car on the right side and after driving about three feet of distance fell down and got injured. We took her near govt. hospital provide her first aid called her family and stayed for full day there. She got her right leg fractured.At that time they said nothing and nor they lodged any FIR. But yesterday one police man came to out place and called us to our nearby police station.
They pressurized us to call and second party and make compromise. We called the the second party but they refused to come by saying that we are not in the position to give any statement. They have some political links also. Now police people are saying to make compromise otherwise they will impound the car and also will keep my husband at police station.
We are not understanding but to do. All seniors are requested to guide me in right direction as soon as possible.

an arbitrator was appointed with a specific direction from the court that he should decide about his jurisdiction as a preliminary issue. the arbitrator decided that he has jurisdiction to decide the matter inspite of the contract being otherwise a specific plea was taken that he has no jurisdiction in the counter. now my query is can this be challenged under article 227 of the constitution or should i wait till the award is passed and challenge it under sec 34 of the arbitration act.

Our MC completes its 5 yr term this year. Pl guide us on how we shd go about conducting the elections for the new committee. Is it that the members elect for committee members and then the committee elects the chairman, secretary and treasurer?

In my present monthly CTC Ex-gratia/bonus component is included which is retained by the company and the accumulated amount is paid once in a year during Diwali. if someone leaves the company can the amount of ex-gratia be lapsed or it should be paid along with F&F?

SIR there is confusion about from where to file summary suit before me as I want to file it.parties reside and work for gain,transaction took place,cheque issued and handed over and drawer bank is situated at place A.But cheque was presented for encashment at place B where I permanently reside and it was bounced.

Vehicle transfer related
Dear Sir/madam,
My self Pradeep requesting for a help regarding the transfer of vehicle.
I purchased a Ford ikon car from a person looking into olx.in, he gave me the form 29 and smart card duly signed by the owner name which the seller was not the owner.
i had no idea of other things where i gave the cash and purchsed. but now when i went to RTO for transfering to my name, there it states the vehicle is held under HPA with HDFC bank, the car model is 2006 and HPA is with second owner, in between without transfer the car has been moved to many hands and no one is able to give the documented owner no. for NOC of HPA the owner is the right person as i confirmed with HDFC bank, but there is no contact no. and the RTO people is not giving back my form 29 whcih they say it cannot be returned. i am stuck with no doc no transfer, file at RTO, if the car would have been in HPA, by the time the car should have been taken back, but still i am using it without any probs. can anyone please suggest the alternate way to get back my docs or transfer.
