Hi,
My mom and sister were beaten by our neighbor and we lodged complaint and FIR was filed for the same. Police took us to government hospital and treatment was given and Medical report was done. While filing the charge sheet police took evidence other neighbors. Myself and my father was also the witness in this case.
Now my question is for certain reasons other neighbors, who are the witness in the case are not willing to come to court. What happens if they don't come to court and will the court consider my and my father's witness? Will accused get punishment based on medical legal report ? Pls Reply.
Respected sirs,
My father executed a Proper and valid WILL but unregistered.
My father expired in 2014 and now my mother wants to execute a "WILL" where one of the properties mentioned in my mother's "Will" passed on to her through my father's unregistered "Will".
Now the question is-
If we register my mother's Will now(as she wants to execute and register),will such properties distributed by my mother which passed to her through my father's unregistered Will, get legal recognition in favour of whom they are distributed , in the distant future,as and when mother's "Will"comes into effect?
Yes it will be clearly mentioned in my mother's "Will" about the unregistered status of my father's "Will",for the properties that passed to her through my father.
I have entered into an agreement with a builder for the construction of first floor on existing house of 780sft.
The agreement is for construction of first floor of 1550 sft for a consideration of 2325000/- He had not mentioned the rate for sft. The payment schedule is 250000/- advance while signing the agreement 500000/- one week after the construction started and 550000/- after completion of ground and first floor 500000/- after completion of brick work 500000/- after completing plumbing and all works and 25000/- before handing over
Now he is unreasonably demanding money for extension of ground floor as in the agreement he had clearly mentioned after completion of ground and first floor.
other than this no mention of ground floor in the agreement.
When I approached the police they have summoned him but he avoided meeting them and suddenly he bought WP from High court stating that this is civil case and interference from police is unwarranted.
Meanwhile he abandoned the work after taking full money from Actual measure ment works out to 1457 sft
Please tell me can I approach DCDRF for the bad work done by him( This is certified by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabadd Civil dept) and also recovery of the money I spent for completion

I have purchased a first floor apartment in a 9 storyed building having 5 apartment in each floor during November 2011. Since April 2012, I am having seepage in the balcony from the second floor. The second floor owner is not willing to get it arrested. Though they have not done any civil work in their apartment, there could be some fault in the water line.
The plumbing work done by the Builder M/s. Natwest Construcion Company, Chennai in the entire Building is very poor. Despite my requesting the Builder to do the needful to check the water line and arrest the seepage, they are not doing anything.
I am the Vice President of the Association and the Builders Director is an Executive Committee Member of the Flat Owners Association.
This Building KP NATWEST VICEROY, Pallikaranai is Commercial Complex and resident complex. What legal action could be taken against them and get my problem solved. S. Ganesan
